Potamitis Publishing - OrthodoxChildrensBooks.com is an Orthodox ministry, which was established by Dionysios & Eglė-Ekaterine Potamitis on November 27th, 2007, with the goal to provide beautiful and dogmatically correct materials to families and parishes with Orthodox children, anywhere around this blessed Globe.
With the true Triune God's Grace, the total number of volumes published so far is close to two hundred, in ten different languages.
All books are produced entirely in Greece, by Orthodox hard-working, fasting and praying families.
Eglė-Ekaterine Potamitis holds a University degree in Pedagogy (English & German), is a painter and iconographer, and has written and illustrated more than seventy children's books, eighteen of which are best-sellers in their second and third editions. Her work has been praised by His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew the 1st.
Dionysios Potamitis holds a BA in Modern Greek and a MA in Balkan Studies, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He is fluent in more than twenty living languages. At Potamitis Publishing - Orthodox Children's Books he takes care of the couple's several children and undertakes every work Eglė-Ekaterine will not.
